Driver hospitalized, traffic stalled for hours after vehicle fire on I-35 North near Lytle

A big rig driver is hospitalized after a vehicle fire in Lytle backed up traffic for hours on I-35, according to the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office. An 18-wheeler carrying coal had a blowout and flipped over the highway on I-35 NB around 2 a.m. Friday near Mile Marker 131, the sheriff’s office said.
