What we know about the murder of Las Palapas’ founder in North Side neighborhood

A law enforcement source confirmed to KSAT Investigates that the victim of a deadly North Side stabbing has been identified as Edward “Ron” Acosta, the founder of San Antonio-based Las Palapas restaurants. KSAT Investigates also obtained an arrest warrant for Acosta’s suspected killer on Tuesday evening. The document identified the suspect as David Ruiz, 39.
