WATCH: Gov. Abbott, USDA secretary announce large investment to combat New World screwworm in Texas

In an effort to eradicate the threat of the New World screwworm, a parasitic fly whose larvae burrow into the flesh of living animals, U.S. Department of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced a more than three-quarters of a billion-dollar investment in a new South Texas facility on Friday.
