City of SA partners with local businesses for $1.6M fund to bridge gap in SNAP benefits

San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones said the city, along with several local businesses and donors, has launched a $1.6 million fund to help SNAP recipients bridge the gap during a lapse in benefits distribution starting this Saturday.
