After ex-officers acquitted, head of SAPD union wants Chief McManus out over ‘knee-jerk’ reactions

A week after three former San Antonio Police Department officers were acquitted in the 2023 shooting death of Melissa Perez, the president of a local police union wants to put a vote of no confidence forward at the union’s next meeting.
